Established in 2014, the team at HSE Glass has more than 150 collective years of mining operations, critical infrastructure, technology, glazing and fabrication experience. We were motivated to build HSE Glass in response to a business problem faced by the mining industry. Following the introduction of the Mine Design Guidelines 28 (MDG 28) and its safety requirements for coal stockpiles and reclaim tunnels, we saw an opportunity to invest in establishing a globally capable, quality assured supply chain that could service the requirements of the mining industry and beyond.
We only use industry-certified materials across all of our manufactured and purpose-designed and glass kits. Our specialist safety glass applications are compliant with both Australian and international safety glass certifications, including AS2080:2019 (Australia), ECE43R (Europe), ANSI Z 26.1 and AS2, AS4 and AS5 (USA) and JIS R 3211 (Japan).
